The Weldcraft WP-22A, also known as the Miller W-250 Automation Series torch body, is a specialized component designed for high-precision machine welding applications. Engineered to meet the rigorous demands of automated manufacturing environments, this torch body provides a stable and reliable platform for continuous TIG welding operations. With a robust 250-amp DC rating (180-amp AC) at 100% duty cycle, it is built to handle substantial heat input without compromising performance, thanks to its efficient water-cooling system.

One of the standout technical features of the WP-22A is its versatility in electrode management. Operators can load and tighten the tungsten electrode from either the front or the back of the torch. This dual-access design is critical in automation cells where the torch may be mounted in hard-to-reach fixtures, allowing for rapid consumable changes without dismantling the entire setup.
