The Weldcraft W-500A (formerly known as the WP-27A) is a premium TIG torch body engineered for heavy-duty industrial applications requiring high amperage and continuous operation. As part of the renowned 27 Series, this torch body is rated for 500 amps DC (350 amps AC) at 100% duty cycle, making it one of the most robust options available for Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW). Designed with automation and mechanized welding in mind, the W-500A features a 180-degree straight "pencil" style head.
