The Weldcraft WP-R17F Redhead™ TIG Torch Body is a premium replacement component designed for the A-150 (formerly WP-17) series of air-cooled TIG torches. Engineered by Miller Electric under the Weldcraft brand, this torch body distinguishes itself with its specialized "Redhead" construction. Unlike standard black rubber torch bodies, the Redhead utilizes a high-temperature phenolic compound. This material choice significantly increases the component's resistance to heat degradation, ensuring a longer service life even in demanding welding cycles. The body is rated for 150 amps of DC output and 115 amps of AC output, making it a versatile choice for general fabrication, maintenance, and repair applications.
