OVERVIEW

Precision Acetylene Monitoring for Industrial Safety

The Smith Equipment GA026-07 is a specialized replacement pressure gauge designed specifically for the delivery side of acetylene regulators. Engineered with safety as the paramount priority, this 2.5-inch gauge features a distinct "Red Zone" on the dial face. This visual indicator highlights pressures above 15 PSIG, alerting operators to potentially unstable conditions inherent to acetylene gas. The gauge is calibrated for a range of 0-30 PSIG, providing precise readings for low-pressure working outputs essential for oxy-fuel cutting and welding applications.

Constructed to withstand the rigors of industrial environments, the GA026-07 features a robust brass case and a brass inlet nipple. The internal mechanism utilizes a watch-type precision movement, ensuring consistent accuracy and reliable performance over the lifespan of the unit. The face is protected by a one-piece polycarbonate crystal, which offers superior shatter resistance compared to glass alternatives. A protective lip on the crystal ring further shields the face from impact damage, a common occurrence in mobile welding setups and busy fabrication shops.

Installation is straightforward with a standard 1/4-inch NPT male bottom mount connection, making this gauge compatible with Smith Equipment regulators as well as most other major brands utilizing standard port sizing. The high-visibility cupped steel face ensures that pressure settings can be read quickly and accurately, reducing setup time and enhancing operational efficiency. U.L. Listed and built to rigid quality standards, this gauge is an essential component for maintaining the safety and functionality of oxy-acetylene equipment.
