Unlike standard entry-level helmets, this model is equipped with Miller's proprietary ClearLight™ Lens Technology. This advanced optic system optimizes contrast and clarity in both welding and light states, allowing students to see the weld puddle with greater definition and realistic color hues. The helmet features digital controls with three distinct operating modes—Weld, Cut, and Grind—making it versatile enough to handle the varied curriculum of a welding program. With a TIG rating down to 5 amps and a 1/1/1/2 optical clarity rating, it provides professional-grade vision protection.
Safety in the shop extends beyond just eye protection. This kit includes a Small Classic Cloth Jacket made from 9 oz. flame-resistant (FR) cotton. The jacket is tailored with finished hems and reinforced stitching to withstand the rigors of daily shop use while keeping the wearer cool and protected from sparks. Hand protection is addressed with two specific pairs of gloves: a pair of TIG/Multi-Task gloves (Size Small) for precision work and a pair of Lined MIG gloves (Size Medium) for higher heat applications.
