The Tweco T-732 Electrode Holder is a staple in the welding industry, known for its robust construction and efficient design. This Master Pack includes two (2) complete electrode holders, providing excellent value for fabrication shops, maintenance departments, and industrial supply inventories. The T-732 model is rated for 300 Amps, making it suitable for a wide range of medium-to-heavy duty Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) applications. It is engineered to handle electrodes up to 7/32 inch (5.5mm) in diameter, covering the vast majority of standard welding rods used in structural and general fabrication.

Constructed from a high-copper alloy, the tongs of the T-732 offer superior electrical conductivity compared to standard brass or steel holders. This material choice minimizes resistance and heat buildup, ensuring that the full welding current reaches the electrode for consistent arc performance. The holder features a ball-point cable connection, a proven method for securing the welding cable (up to 2/0 size) that maximizes contact area and mechanical strength. The design includes fully insulated springs and fiberglass handle components, protecting the operator from electrical shock and the internal mechanism from spatter and debris.

Maintenance and longevity are key features of the Tweco Tong line. The T-732 utilizes reversible top and bottom insulators.
