The Lincoln Electric KP3708-1 is a specialized Halo Style Hard Hat Adapter engineered exclusively for the Viking™ 3250D FGS™ Series welding helmets. Unlike universal adapters that rely on simple friction clips, this unit utilizes a robust "Halo" design that encompasses the hard hat, providing a superior structural foundation for the heavier 3250D FGS assembly. The adapter is manufactured from premium industrial-grade plastic, selected for its high impact resistance and ability to withstand the thermal stresses common in heavy fabrication environments.

A key technical feature of this adapter is its 4-axis push-button adjustment system. This mechanism allows the operator to fine-tune the position of the welding helmet relative to the face, controlling the distance (fore/aft), angle (tilt), and vertical alignment. This level of adjustability is critical for maintaining the optical center of the 4C® Lens Technology and ensuring an effective seal when used in conjunction with respiratory protection.
