The core of this product is Lincoln's proprietary 4C Lens Technology, which stands for Clarity, Color, Carat, and Cut. Unlike traditional auto-darkening lenses that often impart a lime-green tint to the view, the 4C technology filters light to provide a true-color view of the arc, puddle, and base material. This reduction in color saturation allows welders to see the weld pool with unprecedented clarity, facilitating better control and higher quality welds.

Engineered for the rigors of industrial environments, the lens is housed in a high-temperature ABS casing. This robust construction is critical for preventing lens failure due to heat deformation, a common issue in high-amperage or continuous welding applications where the lens is in close proximity to the arc.
