The Diversitech Mini Vac II is a compact, high-vacuum fume extraction system designed for source capture in light-to-medium duty welding and grinding applications. Engineered for versatility and performance, this unit operates on standard 120V single-phase power, making it an easily deployable solution for maintenance shops, repair bays, and fabrication environments where large, fixed extraction arms are impractical. The unit features a robust 14-gauge mild steel cabinet, ensuring it can withstand the rigors of daily industrial use without compromising on portability.

At the core of the Mini Vac II is the Nanotech XV Cartridge Filter, a high-efficiency filtration media rated at MERV 15. This advanced filtration technology is capable of capturing sub-micron particles, including hexavalent chromium and manganese, which are common hazards in welding operations. The system utilizes a high-pressure vacuum motor that draws fumes through a 10-foot long, 2-inch diameter flexible hose. This high-vacuum, low-volume (HVLV) approach ensures high capture velocity at the nozzle, effectively removing contaminants before they enter the operator's breathing zone.

Operational control is simplified with a durable toggle switch offering High, Low, and Off settings. Operators can select between 105 CFM for lighter applications or 210 CFM for more intensive smoke generation.
