The Miller Filtair SWX-D (951515) is a robust, wall or column-mounted fume extraction system designed specifically for welding environments. Engineered for light to medium-duty applications, this system utilizes the SWX-D cabinet configuration, which features a disposable filter model. At the heart of the system is the FilTek™ XL Filter Technology, a surface-loading media that outperforms traditional treated cellulose filters. With a MERV 15 rating, the filter captures up to 95% of weld fume particulates, including sub-micron particles, ensuring a safer and cleaner workspace for operators.

Optimized Airflow and Standard Arm Design

This package includes a 12-foot Standard Fume Extraction Arm, providing extended reach for large weldments or variable workstations. Unlike internal-support arms that obstruct airflow, the Miller Standard Arm features external adjustments. This design minimizes airflow resistance, allowing the high-performance 1 HP blower to deliver a class-leading 1,200 CFM at the fan and an Accu-Rated™ 875 CFM at the hood. The arm is pre-assembled for quick installation and offers reliable, accurate positioning across its full range of motion. The large bellmouth-shaped hood can be rotated 360 degrees, allowing welders to position the capture zone precisely where it is needed without constant readjustment.
