FilTek® XL Filter Efficiency

At the core of the SWX-S is Miller's proprietary FilTek® XL filter technology. Unlike traditional treated cellulose filters that depth-load and clog rapidly, FilTek XL utilizes a surface-loading nanofiber media. This design allows the filter to capture up to 95% of weld fume particulates—including sub-micron particles found in hexavalent chromium and manganese—while maintaining a MERV 15 rating.
