The Lincoln Electric Prism® Mobile One-Pak® (K4259-3) is a comprehensive low-vacuum system designed to tackle welding fumes at the source. Engineered for smaller manufacturing facilities, fabrication shops, and maintenance departments, this unit combines mobility with powerful filtration. The system delivers a generous airflow of 750 CFM, making it highly effective for light to medium-duty welding applications including MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Cored processes. Its compact footprint (36" x 32" x 48") allows it to fit easily into tight workspaces while the front casters and rear wheels ensure it can be moved effortlessly between workstations.
At the heart of the Prism Mobile is a large-capacity MERV 14 filter, boasting 538 square feet of surface area. This high-efficiency filter captures up to 84% of airborne contaminants ranging from 0.3 to 1 micron, significantly improving shop air quality. The unit is protected by an internal spark arrestor that acts as a pre-filter, catching larger particulates and preventing sparks from damaging the main filter. Unique to this One-Pak® configuration is the inclusion of an Arc Sensor and Lamp Kit integrated directly into the hood. The Arc Sensor automatically detects when welding begins, turning the vacuum on instantly, and switches it to standby mode when the arc is extinguished. This smart feature not only conserves electricity but also reduces background noise in the shop.
The K4259-3 package comes complete with a 10-foot flexible extraction arm, providing excellent reach and positioning stability. The hood features a built-in lamp to illuminate the weld joint, enhancing visibility and weld quality. Maintenance is simplified with a color-coded filter status indicator that alerts operators when the filter needs replacement, and the tool-less filter change system minimizes downtime. Operating on standard 120V single-phase power, the Prism Mobile is a plug-and-play solution that requires no complex installation.
