Engineered for low-vacuum, high-volume extraction, the Prism Mobile delivers a generous airflow of 735 CFM. It effectively captures welding fumes at the source, returning filtered air into the facility to reduce energy costs associated with makeup air. The unit features a compact footprint (40" x 32" x 48") and durable casters, allowing for easy positioning around large weldments or between workstations.

Advanced Filtration and Cleaning

At the core of the system is a MERV 16 (HE) main filter, capable of capturing up to 95% of airborne contaminants ranging from 0.3 to 1 micron. This level of filtration ensures a safer environment for welders and plant personnel. To maintain peak performance, the unit is equipped with the RotaPulse® Automatic Filter Cleaning System. This mechanism utilizes a compressed air connection to periodically pulse-clean the filter, dislodging accumulated particulate into a collection bin. This automated process significantly extends filter life and reduces the downtime required for manual maintenance.

Intelligent Operation

The included Arc Sensor/Lamp Kit (installed in the hood) enhances both efficiency and visibility. The arc sensor detects when the welding arc is struck and automatically activates the vacuum motor. When welding stops, the system enters standby mode, conserving electricity and reducing shop noise. The integrated lamp provides bright illumination directly over the weld zone, improving weld quality and operator comfort.
