Advanced Filtration and Mechanized Cleaning

At the core of the Prism Mobile is its superior filtration capability. The unit utilizes a MERV 16 rated main filter (KP1653-5), which is capable of capturing up to 95% of airborne contaminants ranging from 0.3 to 1 micron in size. This level of filtration is critical for applications involving stainless steel or high-alloy metals where hexavalent chromium may be present. To maintain peak performance and reduce consumable costs, the system features the RotaPulse® Automatic Filter Cleaning System. This mechanized system uses a compressed air connection to periodically pulse the filter, dislodging accumulated particulate into a collection bin. This process significantly extends the lifespan of the main filter compared to static systems, reducing downtime and maintenance expenses.

The Prism Mobile delivers a generous airflow of 735 CFM when equipped with the 10-foot arm, ensuring effective capture of fumes at the source before they enter the welder's breathing zone. The unit runs on standard 120V, single-phase, 60 Hz power, drawing only 7.6 Amps, making it easy to deploy in almost any facility without special electrical drops. An internal spark arrestor acts as a pre-filter, protecting the main filter from hot sparks and larger debris.
