The core of the unit is its MERV 14 main filter, capable of capturing up to 84% of airborne contaminants ranging from 0.3 to 1 micron in size. RotaPulse® Automatic Cleaning System

One of the defining technical features of the K1741-3 is the RotaPulse® automatic filter cleaning system. Unlike static filtration units that require frequent manual cleaning or replacement, the RotaPulse system utilizes a compressed air connection to periodically pulse the filter. This action dislodges accumulated particulate matter from the filter media, depositing it into a collection bin. This mechanized cleaning process significantly extends the operational life of the main filter, maintains consistent airflow pressure, and reduces the total cost of ownership by lowering consumable frequency.

System Architecture and Safety

The unit is engineered with an internal spark arrestor that functions as a pre-filter. This component is critical for fire safety, preventing larger hot particulates and sparks from reaching the main filter media.
