Engineered for light to medium-duty applications, this system is particularly well-suited for facilities with fixed workstations such as welding schools, maintenance departments, and job shops where floor space is limited. The unit features a dual-arm configuration, utilizing two flexible 10-foot extraction arms to provide extensive coverage and the ability to manage fumes from two separate welding zones simultaneously.

Advanced MERV 14 Filtration

Central to the system's performance is its disposable MERV 14 filter. Constructed with a 3D pleated structure, the filter offers a substantial surface area of 538 ft² (50 m²), ensuring high particulate holding capacity and extended operational life. The MERV 14 rating signifies superior efficiency in trapping fine welding particulates. To protect the filter media and ensure system safety, an integrated spark arrestor functions as a pre-filter, capturing larger particulates and preventing potential ignition sources from reaching the main filter chamber.

Optimized Airflow Dynamics

The K4261-8 package is powered by two Prism 2400 stationary fans, each rated at 1 HP and operating on standard 115V single-phase power. These fans feature self-cleaning concave blades designed to maintain consistent performance. In the dual-arm configuration, the system delivers a total unrestricted airflow of 1,200 CFM, providing ample suction velocity to capture fumes at the source before they enter the operator's breathing zone. The included starter/overload switches allow for independent control of each arm, optimizing energy usage based on active welding stations.

This One Pak® simplifies procurement and installation by including all necessary components for a complete setup. The package contains the wall-mount base unit, two 10-foot flexible arms (K1655-8), two wall mounting brackets (K1657-1), two fans (K1656-9), and the required control switches. The wall-mounted design not only conserves valuable floor space but also positions the extraction unit for optimal ducting and airflow management.
