One of the standout features of this One-Pak® is its dual-arm configuration. Equipped with two telescopic counter-weight arms (K1655-14), the system allows two operators to work simultaneously or enables a single operator to manage fumes from multiple zones within a workstation. The arms extend from 5 to 8 feet, offering versatile reach while being capable of retracting to a compact form factor when not in use. This telescopic design is particularly beneficial in tight quarters where maneuverability is restricted.
At the heart of the Prism® system is a high-capacity MERV 14 filter (KP1673-1) boasting 538 square feet (50 m²) of surface area. This generous filter media size significantly increases the dwell time of the airflow, allowing for more efficient particulate capture and extended filter life compared to standard units. The system is powered by two Prism 2400 1 HP stationary fans, delivering a robust total airflow of 1,200 CFM. Additionally, an integrated spark arrestor acts as a pre-filter, capturing larger particles and sparks before they reach the main filter, thereby enhancing safety and reducing maintenance costs.
Lincoln Electric’s One-Pak® approach simplifies the procurement and installation process. The K4261-11 package includes everything needed to get up and running: the wall mount base unit, two fans, two telescopic arms, and two starter/overload switches for independent control.
