The Lincoln Electric Prism® Wall Mount Mechanized Cleaning One-Pak® (K4468-14) is a robust low-vacuum system engineered for stationary welding environments. Designed to address the air quality needs of job shops, welding schools, and maintenance departments, this system provides a centralized solution for capturing welding fumes at the source. The unit is anchored by a wall-mounted base that supports two telescopic extraction arms, allowing a single system to service two adjacent welding stations simultaneously. This configuration is particularly advantageous for facilities with limited floor space, as it removes the footprint associated with mobile cart units.

Advanced Filtration Technology

At the core of the Prism system is a high-efficiency MERV 16 Nano-coated cellulose filter. This filtration rating ensures the capture of sub-micron particles, making it suitable for a wide range of welding processes, including those generating hexavalent chromium. The system features a mechanized cleaning mechanism that periodically dislodges accumulated particulate from the filter media, depositing it into a collection bin. This self-cleaning capability maintains optimal airflow over time and significantly extends the service life of the filter, reducing long-term consumable costs. An integrated spark arrestor acts as a pre-filter, capturing larger sparks and debris to protect the main filter element.

Powerful Airflow and Reach

The K4468-14 One-Pak includes two Prism 2400 fans, each powered by a 1 HP motor running on standard 115V single-phase power. Together, they generate a generous 1,200 CFM of airflow, ensuring effective capture velocities at the hood. The included telescopic arms extend from 5 to 8 feet, offering flexible positioning to accommodate various workpiece sizes and welding positions. The counter-weight balance system ensures the arms remain stable once positioned, allowing welders to focus on their arc without constant readjustment.
