The Lincoln Electric Prism® Wall Mount Mechanized Cleaning One-Pak® (K4468-7) is a premier low-vacuum filtration solution designed for static welding stations where floor space is at a premium. Engineered for heavy-duty industrial environments, this system integrates two powerful Prism® 2400 fans, each driven by a 1 HP motor, to deliver a combined airflow of 1200 CFM. This robust suction capability ensures the effective capture of welding fumes, particulate matter, and smoke at the source, significantly improving indoor air quality and compliance with OSHA standards.

High-Efficiency MERV 16 Filtration

At the core of the Prism® system is a large-capacity MERV 16 filter constructed from nano-coated cellulose. This filtration media provides a surface area of 568 square feet (52 square meters), allowing for superior particulate capture efficiency even on sub-micron particles found in hexavalent chromium and manganese fumes. The system utilizes a mechanized cleaning cycle that periodically pulses the filter to dislodge accumulated dust, depositing it into a collection bin. This feature not only extends the lifespan of the filter but also maintains consistent airflow and static pressure over prolonged operation periods.

Intelligent Automation and Safety

The K4468-7 One-Pak® includes two Arc Sensor/Lamp Kits, which represent a significant leap in energy efficiency and operational convenience. These sensors detect the arc flash at the start of the welding process and automatically activate the extraction fans. Once welding ceases, the fans run for a preset duration to clear residual fumes before shutting down, conserving energy and reducing background noise. Additionally, the unit is equipped with an integrated spark arrestor that acts as a pre-filter, protecting the main filter element from hot sparks and larger debris, thereby mitigating fire risks in the ductwork.

System Specifications

The unit operates on standard 115V single-phase power, making it compatible with most industrial electrical infrastructures. The dual 10-foot flexible arms are designed with external articulation to minimize airflow restriction and allow for precise positioning by the operator.
