By mounting the filtration unit and fan directly to the wall, the Prism system provides powerful extraction without obstructing the workspace or creating trip hazards. The unit is powered by the robust Prism 2400 Fan, a 1 HP motor operating on standard 115V single-phase power, delivering a generous airflow of 735 CFM to effectively capture smoke and particulates at the source.

Advanced MERV 16 Filtration Technology

At the core of the K4468-8 is its superior filtration capability. The system utilizes a MERV 16 Nano-Coated Cellulose filter set, which is engineered to capture 95% or more of ultra-fine particles, including hexavalent chromium and other hazardous welding fumes. Unlike standard filters that clog rapidly, this unit features a mechanized cleaning system. This mechanism periodically cleans the filter media, dislodging accumulated dust into a collection bin. This self-cleaning feature not only maintains consistent airflow and suction pressure over time but also significantly reduces operational costs by extending the lifespan of the filter cartridges.
