The Lincoln Electric Activ8X® / Magnum® PRO Curve™ 300 One-Pak® (K3564-1) represents a significant advancement in portable semiautomatic wire feeding systems. Engineered specifically for the rigorous demands of shipbuilding, offshore, and heavy construction, this package integrates the Activ8X® feeder with the high-performance Magnum® PRO Curve™ 300 welding gun. At the core of the system is Lincoln's proprietary CrossLinc® Technology, which enables full remote voltage and amperage control at the arc without the requirement for an additional control cable. This communication occurs directly over the welding leads, reducing cable clutter and eliminating a common point of failure in field environments.

The Activ8X® feeder is equipped with True Voltage Technology™ (TVT™), a sophisticated feature that actively monitors and compensates for voltage drops that naturally occur across long welding cable runs. By automatically adjusting the output, TVT™ ensures that the voltage set by the operator is the actual voltage delivered to the arc, regardless of the distance from the power source. The unit is powered by a robust Maxtrac® Wire Drive System, featuring a heavy-duty cast aluminum drive assembly and dual driven rolls that provide consistent feeding force. A built-in tachometer provides feedback to the control system, maintaining precise wire feed speeds between 50 and 700 IPM, even under varying load conditions.

Designed for versatility, the Activ8X® supports both MIG (GMAW) and Flux-Cored (FCAW) processes with a maximum output rating of 330 Amps. It accommodates wire diameters up to 0.052 inches (1.3 mm) for solid wire and 5/64 inches (2.0 mm) for cored wire. The internal electronics are protected by potted PC boards, shielding them from moisture and corrosion typical of marine and outdoor environments. The One-Pak® configuration ensures immediate compatibility and setup, including the feeder, gun, and necessary drive rolls for 0.052-inch cored wire applications.
