The Lincoln Electric AutoDrive® SA One-Pak® (K4678-100IC/8L) is a comprehensive wire feeding and torch system engineered specifically for the Fanuc 100iC/8L robot arm. Designed to address the unique rheology and feeding challenges of aluminum welding, this system integrates a high-precision servo-driven pull feeder directly into the torch assembly, working in perfect synchronization with a rear push feeder. This push-pull configuration ensures that soft aluminum wire is fed consistently without deformation, shaving, or bird-nesting, which are common failure points in standard robotic setups.

At the heart of the AutoDrive SA's performance is its deep integration with Lincoln Electric Power Wave® power sources. The system utilizes proprietary communication protocols to synchronize wire feed speed with Waveform Control Technology®. This allows for the implementation of Touch-Retract Start Technology. Unlike traditional high-voltage starting methods that can cause explosive spatter, the AutoDrive SA gently touches the wire to the work piece and then retracts it using the servo motor to draw the arc. This results in a clean, spatter-free ignition every time, protecting the part finish and the contact tip.
