The Miller QuietPulse™ Expansion Memory Card (SKU: 301790) is a specialized firmware enablement device designed for specific Miller Maxstar and Dynasty TIG power sources. In standard DC TIG welding, high-frequency pulsing creates a rapid transition between peak and background amperage, often resulting in a loud, distinctive buzzing sound that can be disruptive in industrial environments. This expansion card unlocks the QuietPulse feature within the machine's software, allowing the power source to modify the wave shape of the DC pulse.

When activated, QuietPulse changes the transition wave from a standard square wave to a Sine or Triangular wave.
