The ESAB Origo Feed 3004W MA23 is a premium, water-cooled wire feeding unit designed for demanding industrial welding applications. Engineered to work seamlessly with ESAB's heavy-duty power sources, such as the Origo Mig 3001i through 6502 series, this feeder ensures reliable wire delivery and precise arc control. The unit features a robust 4-roll drive mechanism with grooved feed rolls and a pressure arm designed to handle a wide variety of wire types, including solid steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and flux-cored wires, ranging from 0.6mm to 1.6mm in diameter.



MA23 Synergic Control Panel


At the heart of this unit is the MA23 control panel, which offers advanced synergic functionality. The panel includes ESAB's proprietary QSet™ technology, an intelligent arc system that automatically optimizes the short arc parameters. With QSet, the welder simply sets the wire feed speed, and the machine adjusts the voltage to maintain a stable arc, significantly reducing spatter and setup time. The panel also supports 2/4 stroke trigger logic, creep start for soft arc ignition, and crater filling to prevent end-crater cracking.



Durability and Design


Built for the shop floor, the Origo Feed 3004W is housed in a galvanized metal casing that withstands harsh environments. This specific model (0460526897) comes with a plastic enclosure (Encl) that covers the wire spool, protecting consumables from dust, moisture, and shop debris. The water-cooling integration allows for continuous welding at high amperages without overheating the torch or feeder components.
