This kit pairs the versatile Crossbow gantry system with the powerful Thermal Dynamics Cutmaster A60i plasma power source, creating a turnkey solution for mechanized cutting. Operating on 400V 3-phase power, the system is engineered for industrial environments requiring reliability and high throughput.
The core of the system is the Crossbow gantry, which features a motorized lifter and Arc Voltage Height Control (AVHC). This technology automatically maintains the optimal torch height during cutting, compensating for plate warping or uneven surfaces to ensure consistent cut quality. The integrated CNC controller supports standard G-code and includes a built-in library of common geometric shapes, allowing operators to execute cuts immediately without external programming. For custom parts, files can be easily transferred via USB.
The included Cutmaster A60i inverter power source delivers 60 Amps of cutting power with an impressive 80% duty cycle. It is capable of production piercing and cutting of mild steel up to 12mm (1/2 inch) and has a severance capacity of up to 30mm (1-1/4 inch). The unit features a quick-disconnect torch coupling and a lightweight, compact design that complements the portability of the Crossbow gantry. The system utilizes the SL100 SV 180-degree machine torch, known for its durability and consumable longevity.
