OVERVIEW

Advanced AC/DC TIG Welding Solution

The Lincoln Electric Aspect® 230 AC/DC TIG Welder (K4340-1) is a premium inverter-based power source designed for the rigorous demands of professional fabrication, aerospace, and technical maintenance. Engineered with advanced waveform control, this machine delivers a highly stable arc for both AC/DC TIG and Stick welding processes. The unit features a robust output range of 2 to 230 Amps, enabling precision work on thin gauge materials as well as the power required for thicker sections up to 1/4 inch.

PowerConnect® and Intellistart™ Technology

A standout feature of the Aspect 230 is Lincoln's PowerConnect® Technology, which automatically senses and adjusts to any input power from 120V to 460V, single or three-phase, 50 or 60 Hz. This eliminates the need for manual relinking and ensures consistent performance across various job site power conditions. Additionally, Intellistart™ Technology optimizes arc starting characteristics based on amperage settings—providing softer starts for thin materials to minimize burn-through and hotter starts for thick materials to ensure proper fusion.

Precision Aluminum Controls

For aluminum applications, the Aspect 230 is equipped with AC Auto Balance® Technology. This feature automatically adjusts the cleaning and penetration ratio, simplifying the setup process for operators while ensuring high-quality welds. Advanced users can further customize settings including pulse frequency, AC frequency, and wave balance, saving up to 9 distinct procedures in the machine's memory for quick recall.

Industrial Design and Durability

Built for harsh environments, the Aspect 230 features an IP23-rated metal housing and a Fan-As-Needed™ cooling system that reduces noise and minimizes dust ingestion. Weighing approximately 50 lbs, the unit maintains portability without sacrificing industrial durability. It also includes a built-in power supply for optional water coolers, streamlining the setup for heavy-duty applications.
