OVERVIEW

Industrial Powerhouse with Integrated Air

The Lincoln Electric Air Vantage® 566 (Deutz®) Ready-Pak® 3 is the definitive solution for heavy-duty industrial fabrication, mining, and construction environments where versatility and power are non-negotiable. This comprehensive package (K3242-2-RP3) transforms the standard engine-driven welder into a fully mobile industrial workstation. At the heart of the system is the robust Deutz® TD 2.9L4 turbocharged diesel engine. This 4-cylinder, water-cooled powerhouse is EPA Tier 4 Final compliant, utilizing a Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC) to meet emissions standards without the maintenance burden of a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF), ensuring higher uptime and lower operating costs.

A standout feature of the Air Vantage 566 is its integrated VMAC® rotary screw air compressor. Unlike piston compressors found on lesser machines, this belt-driven system delivers a continuous 60 CFM at 100 PSI. This volume of air is sufficient to drive industrial pneumatic tools, inflate heavy equipment tires, and support plasma cutting operations without the need for a separate tow-behind compressor. For welding operations, the machine utilizes Lincoln’s patented Chopper Technology® to provide excellent arc control across all processes, including Stick, TIG, MIG, and Flux-Cored welding. With a rated output of 575 amps at 100% duty cycle, it effortlessly handles thick materials and is capable of arc gouging with carbons up to 3/8-inch (9.5 mm) in diameter.

The Ready-Pak® 3 configuration is engineered for immediate deployment. It arrives factory-assembled on a heavy-duty Medium Welder Trailer (K2636-1), complete with a Duo-Hitch® featuring both a 2-inch ball and lunette eye, a full fender and light kit for road safety, and a cable rack for organized storage. This turnkey approach eliminates the logistical complexity of sourcing and assembling separate components. Furthermore, the unit serves as a massive power plant, delivering 20 kW of continuous 3-phase 240V AC power and 12 kW of single-phase power. This allows crews to run lights, grinders, pumps, and even additional inverter welders simultaneously, maximizing productivity on the job site.
