The Lincoln Electric LN-25 PRO Standard is a robust, portable semiautomatic wire feeder designed for the rigors of field welding. Engineered for reliability in metal fabrication, shipbuilding, and construction, this unit operates on an "Across-the-Arc" power system, utilizing the open circuit voltage (15-110V DC) from the power source. This eliminates the need for a separate control cable, significantly enhancing portability and reducing setup time on job sites. The feeder is compatible with both Constant Current (CC) and Constant Voltage (CV) power sources, making it a versatile addition to any industrial fleet.

At the heart of the LN-25 PRO is the Maxtrac® Wire Drive System. This heavy-duty, cast aluminum drive mechanism features a dual-driven roll system that provides consistent and positive wire feeding. The patented split wire guide system reduces bird-nesting and ensures smooth delivery of both solid and flux-cored wires. The unit supports a wide range of wire diameters, accommodating solid wire from .023 to 1/16 inch and cored wire from .030 to 5/64 inch. A dual-range wire feed speed control allows for precision adjustment, offering a low range for critical applications and a high range for rapid deposition, with speeds up to 700 inches per minute.

Durability is a key focus of the LN-25 PRO design. The internal components are housed in a flame-resistant, impact-resistant polycarbonate case that protects against the harsh conditions typical of outdoor and industrial environments. The PC boards are fully potted and trayed to shield sensitive electronics from moisture, dust, and corrosion. Additionally, the unit features a trigger interlock switch, allowing operators to weld for extended periods without hand fatigue.
