CrossLinc Technology Integration

A defining feature of the Flextec 350X is the integrated CrossLinc technology. This proprietary communication protocol allows for the transfer of voltage and amperage control signals over a standard copper welding cable. By eliminating the need for a separate control cable, the system reduces jobsite clutter, minimizes cable maintenance costs, and increases productivity by allowing operators to adjust parameters at the wire feeder—hundreds of feet away from the power source—without returning to the machine. This is particularly advantageous in shipbuilding, structural steel erection, and large-scale construction projects.

The internal components, including PC boards, are trayed and potted to protect against dust, moisture, and vibration.
