Advanced Pulse Technology

What sets the K4662-1 apart is its sophisticated pulse capabilities. The Pulse-on-Pulse® mode uses a sequence of varying pulse wave shapes to produce a TIG-like bead appearance, providing excellent weld properties and aesthetic control when MIG welding aluminum. This is critical for industries where weld appearance is a marker of quality. Additionally, the standard Pulse MIG mode varies weld current between peak and background to minimize heat input, significantly reducing warping and burn-through on thin materials—a common challenge in aluminum fabrication.

Intelligent Interface and Control

The unit features a 7-inch color LED display that simplifies complex setups. The Ready.Set.Weld.® system allows operators to input material thickness and wire type, automatically configuring optimal parameters. For experienced welders, ArcFX™ technology provides instant graphical feedback on how wire feed speed and voltage adjustments affect the weld profile, allowing for precise fine-tuning. The machine also includes Power Mode®, which utilizes high-speed regulation of output power to deliver fast responses to arc changes, ensuring low spatter and consistent wetting on critical applications.

Complete Push-Pull Package

This One-Pak is ready for immediate aluminum work. It includes the Magnum® PRO AL Rear-Trigger Gun (G225A), a push-pull system that ensures consistent feeding of soft aluminum wire over long distances (25 ft). Also included is a standard Magnum® PRO Curve 300 gun for steel applications, a spool of SuperGlaze® 5356 wire, and all necessary drive rolls. The machine's universal input voltage (208/230/460/575V) ensures compatibility with almost any shop power configuration.
