The Lincoln Electric Precision TIG® 375 (K2622-1) is an industrial-grade AC/DC TIG and Stick welding power source designed for the most demanding fabrication environments. Engineered to provide the highest duty cycle in its class, this machine delivers a rated output of 375 amps at 40% duty cycle, with a massive operating range spanning from a low 2 amps up to 420 amps. This versatility allows operators to weld everything from paper-thin alloys to thick structural sections with a single machine.
At the core of the Precision TIG 375 is Lincoln's patented Micro-Start™ II Technology. This system enhances low-amperage starting, arc stability, and weld cratering, eliminating common issues such as burn-through on thin materials or erratic starts. For aluminum applications, the machine features AC Auto Balance®, which automatically adjusts the cleaning and penetration ratio for optimal results. Experienced operators can also manually override this setting to fine-tune the arc for specific oxide removal or penetration requirements.
Standard on the K2622-1 model is the Advanced Pulse Control panel. This built-in TIG pulser allows for precise management of heat input, significantly reducing distortion on thin substrates and improving bead aesthetics through controlled filler metal deposition. The unit is also designed with the shop floor in mind, featuring a side-mounted torch holder and connections that protect cables and provide a convenient storage solution. With its robust construction and ability to handle 3/16-inch stick electrodes (including Fleetweld® 5P+), the Precision TIG 375 is a comprehensive solution for general fabrication, automotive, aerospace, and heavy maintenance applications.
