The Lincoln Ranger 305 LPG Engine Driven Welder (K2937-1) is a specialized multi-process welding solution designed for environments where gasoline and diesel emissions are restricted or prohibited. Powered by a top-of-the-line 25 HP Kohler Command CH730 LPG engine, this machine utilizes liquid propane gas to deliver robust performance with cleaner exhaust. It is the ideal choice for maintenance, repair, and structural welding in semi-enclosed spaces or specialized industrial sites.

Superior Arc Performance with Chopper Technology

At the heart of the Ranger 305 LPG is Lincoln Electric's patented Chopper Technology. This system provides easy arc starting, an extremely smooth arc, low spatter, and excellent bead appearance. It supports a wide range of processes including Stick, Downhill Pipe, TIG, MIG, and Flux-Cored welding. The machine offers four specific welding modes: CC-Stick, Downhill Pipe, CV-Wire, and Touch Start TIG, ensuring optimized performance for every task. The Touch Start TIG feature allows you to establish an arc by lifting the tungsten, eliminating the need for high frequency and avoiding tungsten contamination.

Powerful AC Generator

Beyond welding, the Ranger 305 LPG serves as a formidable power plant. It generates 10,000 watts of peak single-phase AC power (9,000 watts continuous), making it capable of running motor-driven tools, lights, and grinders. The skewed rotor design produces clean AC power suitable for operating sensitive electronics, including Lincoln Electric inverter power sources. With dual digital output meters, operators can precisely monitor amps and volts, ensuring adherence to strict welding procedures.

Built for Reliability

The unit is housed in a fully enclosed case that protects internal components and dampens noise, operating at a relatively quiet 76.7 dBA at 23 feet. Maintenance is simplified with an electric start and a tool-free oil drain valve. The machine comes complete with an LPG supply hose and coupler, ready to connect to your liquid draw LP-Gas cylinder (sold separately).
