The Miller AlumaFeed 450 Welding System (951557) is a comprehensive package designed specifically for the rigors of heavy industrial aluminum fabrication. At the core of this system is the AlumaPower™ 450 MPa power source, an inverter-based machine capable of delivering 450 amps at 100% duty cycle. This power source is engineered with synergic technology, allowing for communication between the power source, the wire feeder, and the gun to optimize arc performance specifically for aluminum alloys.

Advanced Synergic Control

The system features Synergic Pulsed MIG capabilities. When the operator adjusts the wire feed speed, the system automatically adjusts the pulse parameters (voltage, background amps, frequency) to maintain a stable arc. This significantly reduces setup time and ensures consistent weld quality across different operators. The included XR-AlumaFeed™ is a heavy-duty industrial feeder designed to work in tandem with the push-pull gun to deliver soft aluminum wire (4000 or 5000 series) over long distances without buckling or bird-nesting.

This SKU is a complete turnkey solution. It includes the Coolmate™ 3 cooling system and the XR-Aluma-Pro™ water-cooled push-pull gun with a 25-foot cable. Water cooling is essential for high-amperage aluminum welding to prevent gun overheating and ensure consumable longevity. The package also comes mounted on a MIGRunner™ cart with a cylinder rack, making the entire heavy-duty system mobile within the shop environment.
