It is fully equipped to handle Regulated Metal Deposition (RMD®) and Pulsed MIG (GMAW-P) processes. The RMD process is particularly valuable for pipe welders, as it provides a precisely controlled short-circuit transfer that creates a calm, stable arc and puddle. This allows for easier handling of the root pass, often eliminating the need for backing gas on stainless steel and chromoly applications, which translates to massive time and material savings.
