One of the standout features of this system is its built-in Polarity Reversing capability. In traditional setups, switching between Stick welding (DCEP) and Gouging (DCEN) requires the operator to walk back to the power source and physically swap heavy welding cables. With this system, the polarity change is handled internally. This allows for seamless transitions between processes, significantly reducing downtime and operator fatigue. Note that TIG (GTAW) welding is not available on this specific Polarity Reversing model, as it is optimized for high-deposition MIG, Flux-Cored, and Gouging tasks.
The system features Miller's proprietary ArcReach® technology, which allows the power source to communicate with remote wire feeders and stick remotes through the weld cables themselves. This eliminates the need for separate control cords, which are often the first items to fail on a job site due to damage.
