OVERVIEW

Industrial Robotic Welding Precision

The Lincoln Electric Power Wave® i400 is a premier robotic arc welding power source designed to meet the rigorous demands of modern automated manufacturing. Engineered for seamless integration, the i400 is specifically built to communicate directly with robotic controllers, such as those from FANUC®, using the high-speed ArcLink® XT digital communication protocol. This ensures rapid data transfer and precise synchronization between the robot arm motion and the welding arc, resulting in superior cycle times and consistent weld quality.

At the heart of the K2669-1 is Lincoln's proprietary Waveform Control Technology®. This software-driven architecture allows manufacturers to select and fine-tune specific weld programs for a wide variety of materials, including steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and nickel alloys. Whether your application requires standard CV-MIG, advanced Pulsed MIG, or Flux-Cored welding, the i400 delivers a stable, low-spatter arc that reduces post-weld cleanup and increases throughput.

Reliability is paramount in automation. The Power Wave i400 features PowerConnect® Technology, which automatically adjusts to any incoming input power from 200V to 600V, 50 or 60 Hz, without requiring manual linking or rewiring. This flexibility makes it an ideal global solution for facilities with varying power infrastructures. Furthermore, the unit is housed in a rugged case designed to withstand harsh industrial environments, often mounting directly inside the robot controller cabinet to save valuable floor space.

For production managers focused on data, the i400 includes CheckPoint™ Production Monitoring capabilities. This cloud-based system allows you to track weld data, verify quality metrics, and monitor equipment health from anywhere in the world. By leveraging real-time data, facilities can identify bottlenecks, optimize efficiency, and ensure every weld meets strict quality standards.
