The Exocor 308L Flux-Cored MIG Wire is a premium consumable designed for high-performance joining of austenitic stainless steels. Engineered to meet AWS E308LT1-1 and E308LT1-4 classifications, this wire provides exceptional versatility in industrial environments. It is specifically formulated for welding Type 304 and 304L base metals, as well as Type 308 and 308L, offering a low carbon content that minimizes carbide precipitation and enhances resistance to intergranular corrosion.

This 0.045-inch diameter wire is supplied on a 28lb spool, optimized for continuous heavy-duty fabrication. Unlike solid wires, the flux-cored design supports higher deposition rates and superior arc stability, even when welding out-of-position. The slag system is designed to be self-peeling in many applications, significantly reducing downtime associated with post-weld cleaning and grinding. It operates effectively with either 100% CO2 or a 75% Argon / 25% CO2 shielding gas blend, allowing shops to utilize existing gas supplies without compromising weld quality.
