The Aufhauser Flux Coated Bronze (FCB) rod is a premium filler metal designed for the oxy-fuel brazing of steel, cast iron, and copper alloys. Identified internally as SKU FCB-332, this 2.5mm (approximately 3/32 inch) rod features a core of high-quality low-fuming bronze (AWS A5.8 RBCuZn-C) surrounded by a durable, flexible flux coating. This integrated design significantly streamlines the brazing workflow, allowing operators to focus on heat control and puddle manipulation without the interruption of dipping the rod into a separate flux container.

Technically, the core alloy is formulated to control zinc volatility, ensuring a cleaner working environment and consistent deposit chemistry.
